Lead Maintenance Technician – oversee ongoing facility maintenance and repairs to keep the company’s multifamily property operating and appearing at its best.
Responsibilities- Manage day-to-day maintenance activities and set the tone and standard for work.
- Use five-plus years of experience in property maintenance, including at least one year supervising others, to address work orders and prevent major problems.
- Apply technical certifications (HVAC, CPO for pools and spas, electrical or plumbing) to handle critical maintenance tasks.
- Maintain the Make‑Ready board so turnover work stays on schedule and the property grounds remain up to date.
- Engage employees and residents in difficult conversations, listening to concerns and resolving issues.
- Apply attention to detail and project‑management skills to find cost‑effective, high‑quality, timely solutions to repair and maintenance problems.
- Provide a safe working environment, use EPA certification for chemical handling, and train the maintenance team in safety protocols.
Work full‑time Monday through Friday. Occasional on‑call hours may be required. Maintain your own toolkit; a valid driver’s license is required for company‑owned or personal vehicle use.

- High school diploma or GED and minimum four years of relevant work experience, preferably in property management or hospitality.
- Minimum one year of supervising two or more employees.
- Technical certifications in HVAC, plumbing, or electrical (S1 or S2 HVAC highly desirable).
- Experience in general building maintenance, painting, light carpentry, electrical, or plumbing.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Own tools and a valid driver’s license.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational skills, and time‑management ability.
- Ability to function in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment.
- Respectful, ethical conduct, and confidentiality.
Monday through Friday, 8:00AM – 5:00PM, plus scheduled on‑call hours and occasional weekends. Occasionally drive a company‑owned or personal vehicle. Able to lift items up to 25lb; occasionally up to 50lb. Manual dexterity and adequate vision required. Ability to stand, walk, climb stairs, and work in various weather conditions.
