JavaScript Developer
Job OverviewWe are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented JavaScript Developer to design, develop, test, and maintain web applications and software solutions. The successful candidate will work closely with developers, designers, product managers, and other teams to build reliable, responsive, and user-friendly applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain web applications using JavaScript and related technologies.
- Write clean, efficient, scalable, and maintainable code.
- Build responsive and user-friendly interfaces.
- Work with frameworks and libraries such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Integrate REST APIs and third-party services into applications.
- Debug and troubleshoot application issues.
- Perform testing and resolve software defects.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers and backend developers.
- Participate in code reviews and follow development best practices.
- Use Git and version control systems to manage source code.
- Optimize application performance, security, and usability.
- Maintain technical documentation and development processes.
- Stay current with JavaScript technologies, frameworks, and industry best practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
- 0–3 years of experience in JavaScript development, including internships or academic projects.
- Strong understanding of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Familiarity with modern JavaScript features and development practices.
- Experience with at least one framework or library such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Basic understanding of REST APIs and web application architecture.
- Familiarity with Git and version control.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Experience with Type Script.
- Familiarity with Node.js and backend JavaScript development.
- Understanding of responsive web design and cross-browser compatibility.
- Basic knowledge of SQL or No
SQL databases. - Familiarity with testing frameworks and automated testing.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Personal, academic, or portfolio projects demonstrating JavaScript development skills.
