Shipping & Receiving Associate

Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Associate for a contract opportunity in Pittsburg, CA. This role supports daily warehouse, shipping, receiving, and material handling operations in a fast-paced industrial environment. The Shipping & Receiving Associate will prepare outgoing shipments, load and unload trucks, operate warehouse equipment, maintain shipping documentation, and help ensure materials are handled accurately and safely.

This is a great opportunity for a safety-focused warehouse professional who enjoys hands-on work, teamwork, and a structured environment with clear procedures and supportive leadership.

The ideal candidate is organized, reliable, comfortable with physical warehouse work, and able to follow safety, health, and environmental standards while contributing to an efficient shipping and receiving operation.

• Prepare, pull, pack, stage, and process materials for outgoing shipments.
• Load and unload trucks while verifying material accuracy and shipment integrity.
• Operate sit-down forklifts, stand-up forklifts, pallet jacks, stretch wrapping equipment, barcode scanners, handheld radios, and related warehouse tools.
• Create and maintain shipping documents, shipment paperwork, inventory records, and system updates using SAP and other warehouse technology.
• Follow all safety, health, environmental, hazardous material, DOT labeling, and PPE requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organized warehouse area and support inventory control and general warehouse operations as needed.
