Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Material Handler for a contract opportunity in Pittsburg, CA. This role supports warehouse operations in a fast-paced chemical manufacturing environment, with responsibility for the safe receipt, storage, movement, and distribution of raw materials and finished goods. This is a great opportunity for a reliable warehouse professional who takes pride in accuracy, safety, and teamwork.

The work environment is structured, production-driven, and focused on safe operations, with hands‑on training, clear expectations, and support from supervisors and designated trainers. Candidates who enjoy working independently while contributing to a team-oriented warehouse and production operation will be well positioned for success.

• Receive, store, retrieve, stage, and distribute raw materials and finished goods to support production schedules.
• Verify materials, batch numbers, quantities, process orders, and inventory records for accuracy.
• Use SAP and warehouse management systems to process transactions, update inventory locations, and document discrepancies.
• Safely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment while following all safety and housekeeping standards.
• Handle, store, and dispose of materials in compliance with chemical manufacturing and hazardous material procedures.
• Communicate with warehouse, planning, and production teams to support deadlines, process improvements, and daily workflow.

• Pay rate: $23 per hour.

• Training schedule:
  Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM or 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM.
• Regular schedule after training: 4-day workweek, 4 x 10-hour shifts.
• Regular shift options may include Sunday through Wednesday or Wednesday through Saturday.
• Schedule is assigned based on business needs.
• Candidates must be flexible to work overtime and alternate shifts as needed.

For temporary assignments lasting 13 weeks or longer, Apple One offers major medical, dental, vision, 401k and any statutory sick pay where required.
