POSITION SUMMARY

The Food and Beverage Supervisor is responsible for the direct supervision and day‑to‑day operations of food and beverage areas with the goal to positively impact sales, profits and guest satisfaction through the guest service experience.

Supports casino core values of Fun, Friendly and Community, leading the department in providing Hometown Hospitality and delivering Fun.

GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • The role of the supervisor is to be a Coach, Mentor, Team Member, Advocate, Company Advocate and Hospitality Champion.
  • Responsible for road mapping and staffing, ensuring service behaviors, and making sure Team Members are supported with the necessary tools and supplies, ensuring policy and procedure compliance, engaging Team Members, communicating, training and developing.
  • Run daily pre‑shift meetings with Team Members.
  • Ensure Team Members deliver Hometown Hospitality and live the core values of Fun, Friendly and Community.
  • Enforce department standards, guidelines and objectives and maintain other administrative processes to ensure proper planning and efficient operation of assigned areas.
  • Ensure operation follows Safe Food Handling and OSHA practices.
  • Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, providing clear direction to facilities team and guests before, during and after events.
  • Review guest complaints/concerns and take appropriate action.
  • Perform the duties of a Food and Beverage Supervisor when needed.
  • Plan and conduct staff meetings. Attend related meetings to obtain and disseminate pertinent information.
  • Adhere to 5S Principles:
    Sorted, Set in order, Systematically cleaned, Standardized and Sustained.
  • Conduct self and others in a gracious, kind and warm manner that reflects the company’s core values.
  • Perform other duties as may be assigned by department and/or company management.
COMPLIANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Attend required training sessions offered by the casino.
  • Obtain required license(s).
  • Perform duties in compliance with local laws and regulations.
  • Ensure minors are not allowed to gamble or loiter in gambling areas, drink alcoholic beverages, or purchase tobacco.
  • Have knowledge of ordinances, regulations, laws, policies, and procedures relating to the Team Members department.
  • Have knowledge of the Property’s programs to address problem gambling.
  • Consult with appropriate individuals and maintain an effective system of written policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance with state regulations and systems of internal controls.
  • Take appropriate steps to investigate exceptions, fraud, and potential violations and report such instances to appropriate levels of management.
  • Report any acts of wrongdoing on behalf of any Team Member that they have knowledge of.
