Junior Architecture Associate - Echelon Arch + Design

The Junior Architectural Associate is a full-time, in office position based in one of Echelon's three offices Overland Park (Kansas), Independence (Kansas) or Pittsburg (Kansas) and plays an integral role in supporting the design and delivery of projects across educational, civic, commercial, and community sectors at Echelon Arch + Design. This entry-level position offers hands-on involvement throughout all phases of the architectural process from concept development and documentation to site coordination and project execution.

Working closely with senior architects and project managers, the Junior Architectural Associate contributes to design exploration, prepares construction documents, and assists with presentations while gaining meaningful responsibility and real project impact.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Architecture, 1-3 years of relevant professional experience in an architectural firm, strong understanding of architectural principles, design processes, and construction documentation, excellent communication and collaboration skills, detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality work within established deadlines, ability to adapt to evolving project requirements and demonstrate a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a positive attitude with a strong desire to learn and grow professionally.
