The Crossland College of Technology is accepting applications for an Admission Recruiter. The primary function of the CCOT Admission Recruiter is to create and manage efforts to support the University’s enrollment management plan by developing and implementing recruitment strategies for the Crossland College of Technology (CCOT) programs. This position is as a member of the CCOT Leadership team and reports to the Dean of the CCOT, additionally they will coordinate closely with the University Admission’s team.
Dutiesand Responsibilities of Position Recruitment Activities (50%)
- Initiate and implement recruitment activities for all CCOT academic programs
- Conduct visits to secondary schools and community colleges
- Attend local, regional, and national fairs to promote efforts – this will require travel
- Assist in the development of recruitment and marketing the CCOT programs
- Report student recruitment data regularly to CCOT Cabinet
- Establish and maintain relationships with regional secondary schools, community colleges, independent counselors and administrators
- Correspond with prospective students, applicants, University alumni, guidance counselors, and other stakeholders
- Provide information on admission standards, curricular, and co-curricular programs
- Conduct campus tours and meet with prospective students and families
- Attend College events and main campus events as deemed necessary by supervisor and School Directors
- Review and report changes needed to communication strings, for prospects, applicants, and recruitment efforts through the Customer Relations Management (CRM) system in coordination with the University Office of Admissions
- Review and report changes needed to the CCOT website in coordination with the Creative and Strategic Communications
- Enhance student relationships and communication timelines
- Connect students with other areas of the University as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor
- Bachelor's Degree
- Valid Driver's License
Candidate's must hold a Bachelor's degree. This degree requirement ensures candidates possess the advanced theoretical knowledge, highly specialized methodologies, and critical problem-solving skills fundamental to this work. These competencies are typically developed and rigorously validated only through the comprehensive curriculum and intensive experiential experience inherent in a formal degree program.

- Graduate of a technical or engineering program
- Graduate of Pittsburg State University

Appointment Duration:12 months
Work Schedule:Full Time, Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM. Some evenings and weekends
