Schedule: Full-time Days

Overview: Lifepoint Rehabilitation, part of Lifepoint Health, is dedicated to prioritizing your well‑being so you can provide exceptional care. As a PTA, you will help make communities healthier by delivering essential physical therapy services.

Responsibilities (under the supervision of a Physical Therapist):

• Implement the treatment plan developed by the supervising therapist using appropriate modalities, and seek consultation as necessary.
• Monitor patient responses to the treatment plan.
• Communicate patient progress and potential goal revisions to the Physical Therapist regularly.
• Document services provided and patient response/progress.
• Educate the patient and family/caregiver about patient deficits.
• Assist with patient discharge planning.
• Provide information regarding appropriate selection and use of adaptive equipment and community support programs.

• Active and valid Physical Therapist Assistant license in the state of Kansas.
• Associate’s degree or graduate of a Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Critical thinking, decisive judgment, and ability to work with minimal supervision; capable of handling a stressful environment.
