Maintenance Technician / Mechanic, Fabrication, Manufacturing Production, Welder / MIG/MAG/TIG

Shift schedule:
Night Shift (Monday – Thursday, 8pm – 6:30am). Full‑time Weekend Shift (Friday – Sunday, 6am – 6pm).
- Read and interpret blueprints and specifications to determine job requirements.
- Set up, operate, and adjust fabrication and welding equipment to assemble components.
- Perform welding on steel, aluminum, copper, and other materials as required.
- Inspect parts and completed welds using measuring tools to ensure quality standards are met.
- Perform finishing work, including grinding, cleaning, and removing excess material.
- Use cutting tools such as torches or plasma cutters as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area through regular housekeeping.
- Collaborate with team members and leads to meet production goals.
- Assist with or provide guidance and training to less experienced team members (level dependent).
- Ability to read blueprints and follow work instructions.
- Experience or familiarity with welding and fabrication processes and equipment.
- Knowledge of basic measuring tools (calipers, tape measures, micrometers, etc.).
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and fabrication machinery.
- Commitment to quality, safety, and productivity standards.
- Ability to complete work accurately and on schedule with minimal errors.
- Willingness to learn and grow skills within the fabrication trade.
- Dependable attendance and ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
- High school diploma or GED preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, crouch, kneel, and reach for extended periods.
- Frequent use of hands and fingers for grasping, handling tools, and repetitive tasks.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull materials and equipment (up to 50lbs occasionally).
- Ability to work at heights, in confined or tight spaces, and around moving machinery.
- Ability to work in variable indoor and outdoor environments, including noise, dust, heat, and cold.
