Inspection of parts and materials to verify acceptability and all related functions associated with the inspection process for aviation, defense and space.

• Daily inspection of parts and materials to verify acceptability and all related functions associated with the inspection process.
• Use of handheld inspection gauges and tools.
• Must be trained and certified for solder, crimp/harness, polymer, and ESD.
• Inspection using a microscope and some product bench testing.
• Ability to use computer systems to perform daily functions and documentation.
• Extensive use of ERP system for documentation.
• Retrieval, completion and filing of inspection records.
• Operation of vision systems and automated inspection equipment.
• Documentation review – incoming materials.
• Customer facing interactions.
• Provide technical feedback to manufacturing and engineering teams.
• Perform other related tasks as assigned by area supervisor that may not be listed above.

• High school diploma or GED.
• US Citizen or permanent resident.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Excellent attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to work with others in a team environment.
• Commitment to quality and attention to detail.
• Compliance with all company safety practices.
• Focus on efficiency and productivity.
• Ability to work overtime or alternate schedules as required.
• Basic math skills and ability to learn the ERP system.

• Completed or hold certifications in NASA solder inspections, NASA crimp/harness inspection, NASA polymer inspection, and ESD.
• Microsoft Office computer skills highly desirable.
