Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Director of Nursing to join our team at Via Christi Village Pittsburg, a leading provider of nursing and medical care in Pittsburg, KS. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in overseeing the daily operations of our nursing department, ensuring exceptional patient care and fostering a positive and supportive work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with overseeing daily nursing operations
  , including staffing, scheduling, and coordinating patient care activities

• Assist with developing and implementing nursing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans, addressing individual needs and preferences

• Supervise and mentor nursing staff, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and job satisfaction

• Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching and mentoring to improve staff performance and patient outcomes

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives
