Responsibilities
Utilizes the Mercy Nursing Conceptual Framework and nursing process to provide patient care. Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information. Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers.
Position DetailsThe ICU unit at Mercy Pittsburg has 12 beds with a mixed population critical care department that serves a multitude of patient populations. The variation of acuity creates a nursing landscape prime for growth of both knowledge and skill set.
Weekend OptionDay & Night Shift Available. Weekend Option available with $10/hr.
Qualifications & Requirements- Required
Education:
Nursing Degree from an accredited school. - Experience:
Preferred experience in Critical Care setting. - License:
Current RN license in our state and/or compact licensure; must meet all state board of nursing requirements. - Certifications:
Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association.
- Weekend Option - $10/hr.
- Relocation Assistance up to $3,000 per policy.
