Underground Utilities Operator - CDL Licensed

Summary

The Drill Operator/Locator position is responsible for assisting the foreman in all aspects of the job for timely completion, including tracking, boring, trenching, pulling fiber, installing ground boxes, plowing, and other assigned duties.

• Conduct daily safety briefings
• Always maintain safe working conditions
• Maintain the condition, functionality, and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Operate equipment efficiently
• Locate with accuracy to assist machine operators shooting bores
• Travel as required to ensure projects are on schedule
• Maintain a Class A CDL or be able to obtain one within 60 days
• Required to disclose personal information to clients in order to be allowed on their premises to complete required job duties
• Other duties assigned by the leadership team

• Standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and/or sitting for long periods of time
• Push, pull, lift, and move up to 80 pounds repeatedly
• Work in adverse weather conditions
