What You Will DoAs a Diesel Mechanic Apprentice you will work right alongside our experienced mechanics to service and repair our fleet of pickup trucks, semi-trucks, trailers, and heavy construction equipment.
Perform basic maintenance like oil changes, fluid checks, and tire rotations.
Help inspect, troubleshoot, and fix brakes, suspension, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
Use company vehicles to run for parts and handle shop errands.
Keep tools, parts, and the shop area clean, safe, and organized.
Learn how to use digital fleet software to log your work.
What We Look ForA strong work ethic and a dependable attitude.
A natural interest in how things work and a willingness to learn how to turn wrenches.
Ability to safely use basic hand and power tools.
Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
Ability to lift up to 70 pounds and work comfortably in a hands-on shop environment.
Farming, construction, automotive hobby, or trade school background is a huge plus, but completely optional!
ShiftDay shift, Monday through Friday (Overtime available).
LocationShop based in Pittsburg, KS.
