Jakes Fireworks, a leading name in the fireworks industry, is seeking skilled and dedicated CDL Drivers with a Hazmat license to join our dynamic team in Pittsburg, Kansas. With 9 distribution centers across the United States and over 500 retail stores, we are committed to delivering exceptional products and services to our customers.

As a CDL Driver with a Hazmat license at Jakes Fireworks, you will be responsible for transporting hazardous materials safely and efficiently to our distribution centers and retail stores. This role is critical in ensuring the timely and secure delivery of our products, adhering to all federal and state regulations.

• Safely operate and maintain a commercial motor vehicle (CMV) with hazardous materials.
• Ensure proper loading and unloading of fireworks and related products.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures for transporting hazardous materials.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
• Maintain accurate logs and records as required by DOT regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.

• Valid CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) with Hazmat endorsement.
• Will train the right candidates.
• Minimum of 2 years of CDL driving experience.
• Clean driving record with no major violations.
• Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects as required.
