A growing healthcare services organization is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to manage billing, cash application, and receivables processes. This role is ideal for an experienced AR professional who enjoys ownership of the receivables cycle and wants to continue building their accounting skill set in a stable, growth-oriented environment.

Overview of the Accounts Receivable Specialist Role

• Post and apply daily cash receipts accurately and timely

• The AR Specialist will manage customer billing and full-cycle accounts receivable transactions

• Research, resolve, and document payment discrepancies and short pays

• Monitor A/R aging and follow up on outstanding balances as needed

• The AR Specialist will assist with month-end close activities and account reconciliations related to A/R

• Prepare and post journal entries related to revenue and receivables

• The AR Specialist will maintain accurate documentation and support internal controls

• Assist with audits and ad hoc accounting or finance projects

Preferred Qualifications of the Accounts Receivable Specialist Role

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or in progress)

• 2+ years of accounts receivable or accounting experience

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Proficiency in Excel and accounting systems

• Self-motivated with an interest in long-term growth within accounting
