Responsibilities- Partners with business to meet operational accounting needs for MSA’s global business.
- Collaborates with team members to design models to ensure proper U.S. GAAP accounting.
- Performs analytical procedures to ensure complete and accurate monthly reporting.
- Assists in the development of automated solutions for manual processes.
- Support all internal and external audit activities and requests, including SOX Compliance.
- Performs accounting research and 10-Q/10-K support as required based on business needs.
- Demonstrated knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SOX. Thorough understanding of financial analysis with strong analytical abilities. Ability to problem solve day-to-day issues that affect multiple stakeholders including cross-functional team members. Oral and written communication skills for frequent interaction with financial and non-financial management. Continuous improvement mindset. Strong organizational, multi-tasking and team building skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Education and experience required: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field
- Associate I:
No experience required
- Preferred: Public accounting or experience in a multinational manufacturing company.
- Working knowledge of SAP RAR (or similar recurring revenue software) and/or Oracle EPM.
- CPA earned or in process.
