📍 Pittsburgh, PA 15208 (Hybrid)
$25-$28
Our client, a mission-driven nonprofit organization, is seeking an Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations and financial activities. This is a great opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and supporting an organization that serves the local community.
Accountant Responsibilities
- Prepare and process weekly Accounts Payable batches
- The Accountant will reconcile cash accounts and credit card activity
- Assist with expense allocations and general accounting functions
- The Accountant will support journal entries and month-end close activities
- Maintain accurate financial records and assist with additional accounting projects as needed
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field required
- Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience
- At least 1 year of Accounts Payable experience required
- Quick Books Desktop experience preferred
- Nonprofit accounting experience strongly preferred
- Strong Excel, organizational, and communication skills
- Valid Pennsylvania Driver's License and reliable transportation required
- Ability to obtain or provide required background clearances
