LHH Recruitment Solutions has partnered with a growing organization in Montgomery County that is seeking a Staff Accountant to join its accounting team. This hybrid role offers exposure to a variety of accounting functions and is ideal for candidates with a background in public audit and assurance.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual journal entries and financial reports
- Perform account reconciliations and maintain supporting documentation
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls
- Assist with external audits and compile requested materials
- Analyze financial results and variances
- Support ad hoc analysis and operational data requests
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; CPA or actively pursuing preferred
- 1-2 years of accounting experience, ideally from public audit/assurance
- Strong Excel skills; experience with ERP systems preferred
- Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- $55,000-$65,000
- Benefit offerings for full‑time employment include medical, dental, and vision coverage
- PTO is offered on an accrual basis
- Paid Sick Leave where applicable by State law
Pay Details: $55,000.00 to $65,000.00 per year
