Accountant, Accounts Receivable​/ Collections, Financial Reporting

DESCRIPTION

The Accountant is responsible for supporting the daily financial operations of the company by maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards. This role works closely with leadership and other departments to support budgeting, cost tracking, payroll support, and month-end closing activities in a manufacturing environment.

REQUIREMENTS

• Support upper-level accounting managers and senior accountant's
• Assist with daily and month end journal entries
• Assist in month end closing processes
• Collaborate on monthly/quarterly sales tax filings
• Assist with preparation of monthly scorecards
• Generate and distribute receivable invoices to customers
• Detail-oriented and organizational skills to ensure reconciliation of the receivables ledger, verifying that all payments are accounted for accurately and properly posted
• Investigate and resolve customer payment discrepancies
• Identify and follow up on overdue receivable accounts
• Contact customers to resolve billing issues and request payment
