Staff Accountant
We are looking for a detail-oriented staff accountant to join our team. In this role, you will handle transactional accounting for a portfolio of properties, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations. The position is hybrid after training and offers strong benefits, including a parking lease.
Responsibilities- Manage transactional accounting tasks for a designated portfolio of properties.
- Prepare and post journal entries to ensure accurate financial records.
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring proper documentation.
- Handle corporate tax filings and sales tax reporting in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with property management teams to provide financial insights and support.
- Perform monthly and quarterly account reconciliations to ensure consistency and accuracy.
- Analyze financial data and prepare reports for management review.
- Ensure timely completion of all accounting tasks while maintaining high standards of accuracy.
