This Assistant Controller opportunity offers a rare succession path to Controller within 9–12 months, supported directly by executive leadership including the CFO and Controller.

You’ll join a well-established real estate organization entering a high-growth phase backed by significant capital investment and long-term expansion plans. The accounting function is evolving to support increased scale, creating strong visibility and impact for this role.

This is an ideal opportunity for a hands-on accounting leader with real estate experience and strong Yardi expertise who is ready to step into a future Controller role within a growing, multi-entity environment.

• Oversee full-cycle accounting across multiple real estate entities, including month-end close and financial reporting
• The Assistant Controller will manage and support audit and tax preparation processes across the organization
• Ensure accuracy and compliance within multi-entity financial structures and reporting requirements
• Leverage Yardi to improve reporting, streamline processes, and enhance accounting efficiency
• The Assistant Controller will partner with leadership to support financial planning, reporting, and organizational growth initiatives
• Identify and implement process improvements to support scalability and modernization

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred
• 5+ years of accounting experience with strong real estate industry exposure required
• Advanced experience with Yardi (Voyager preferred)
• Strong background in multi-entity accounting and financial reporting
• Experience supporting audits and tax processes in a complex environment
• Leadership experience or readiness to step into a Controller-level role
