Payroll Specialist

Description

We are looking for a Full Cycle Payroll Specialist to support payroll operations for a leading non-profit organization in the East End.

This is a Contract to hire position role.

The position is hybrid.

Key Responsibilities for Full Cycle Payroll Specialist:

+ Process full-cycle payroll for U.S., to include union

+ Payroll is over 10,000 employees and ran weekly

+ Review and process payroll adjustments including earnings, deductions, benefits, garnishments, retirement contributions, and tax-related transactions

+ Support payroll tax compliance, W-2 processing, and payroll reporting activities

+ Perform payroll reconciliations, gross-to-net reviews, register validation, and exception resolution

+ Maintain payroll data integrity and ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and international payroll requirements

+ Handle a high volume of payroll transactions in a fast-paced environment where payroll processing may occur daily

+ Partner with internal teams to resolve payroll discrepancies and employee inquiries

Requirements

+ Strong full-cycle payroll processing experience

+ High volume experience over 10,000 employees is required

+ High level Excel experience is required

+ Working knowledge of payroll taxes, garnishments, W-2s, and payroll compliance

+ Experience supporting large employee populations and multiple payroll cycles
