Specialist, Payroll Administration

BNY Mellon seeks a Specialist, Payroll Administration to execute accurate, timely payroll for U.S. and global employees in a complex financial services environment. You will process multi-cycle payrolls, manage employee data, and ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and international regulations. The role partners closely with HR, Benefits, and Finance to resolve payroll issues, support audits, and produce detailed reporting. You will help optimize payroll systems and controls while working in a culture focused on integrity, risk management, inclusion, and continuous learning across global teams.

Responsibilities

• Process and reconcile multi-cycle payroll for U.
• S. and global employees in accordance with policy and regulatory standards
• Maintain accurate employee payroll records, including compensation changes, benefits, and deductions
• Review, audit, and resolve payroll discrepancies, adjustments, and off-cycle payments
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local wage, tax, and reporting regulations
• Collaborate with HR, Finance, and Benefits teams to support payroll changes and integrations
• Prepare payroll reports and analytics to support audits, accounting close, and management review
• Respond to employee payroll inquiries with timely, accurate issue resolution
• Support payroll system updates, testing, and process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency
