Our client is a steadily growing financial services firm seeking an Accounting Analyst to join its team. This is a hands-on opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys variety, takes ownership of their work, and wants to grow with an established organization. Hands-on role with exposure to accounting, financial reporting, banking, and cash management

Manage day-to-day Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, including invoices, payments, client billing, and deposits
The Accounting Analyst will monitor daily bank activity, process cash transfers and deposits, and support banking and treasury activities
Prepare monthly bank and credit card reconciliations and assist with financial statement preparation
Assist with journal entries, general ledger activity, variance analysis, and month-end close
The Accounting Analyst will prepare and maintain financial reports, including income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow information
Support 1099 preparation, payroll-related payments, expense reimbursements, and other accounting activities
Build and maintain Excel templates, formulas, and Pivot Tables to improve accounting processes and reporting
Identify opportunities to streamline recurring processes and leverage technology and AI tools to improve efficiency
The Accounting Analyst will assist with special accounting and operational projects as needed
Previous bookkeeping or accounting experience required
Experience with Quick Books Online or a similar general ledger system
Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, Pivot Tables, and creating templates
Strong attention to detail and accuracy with reconciliations and financial reporting
Ability to manage multiple daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly deadlines
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Ability to handle confidential financial information with discretion
Professional written and verbal communication skills
Interest in process improvement, automation, and using technology to increase efficiency
Financial services, professional services, or family office experience is a plus
