We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented accounting professional to join a growing finance organization in Pittsburgh, PA. This role will play a key part in revenue accounting, legal entity controllership, financial analysis, and strategic business initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong technical accounting knowledge, experience working in mid-to-large organizations, and a passion for leveraging technology to drive automation and process improvements.
This position offers the opportunity to partner with business leaders, influence contract structures, support a major billing migration initiative, and contribute to the overall financial integrity of multiple legal entities.

Responsibilities:- Deliver compliant financial processes and timely reporting across month, quarter, and year-end cycles.
- Process complex financial transactions and analyze exceptions.
- Prepare and post journal entries for complex general ledger accounts.
- Reconcile general ledger activity to validate trial balance completeness and accuracy.
- Support recurring and one-time transactions, including accruals, intercompany, and adjustments.
- Perform advanced account and financial data reconciliations.
- Document detailed processes for complex reconciliations, accruals, and allocations.
- Apply technical accounting guidance to one-time events and new recurring transactions.
- Support ERP and R2R tool implementation activities.
- Assist audits, ad hoc requests, and special projects.
- Contribute to standardization of end-state global, regional, and country-specific R2R processes.
- Capture performance metrics at functional, team, and individual levels.
- Participate in rotating assignments across service centers, business lines, legal entities, and geographies.
- Experience across the full accounting cycle from transaction through consolidation, close, and financial reporting.
- Accounting experience in financial services preferred.
- Public accounting experience in the United States preferred.
- Proficiency with accounting applications such as People Soft.
- Experience with direct customer contact and responding to business inquiries.
- Strong written and oral communication skills in English.
Bachelor's degree, preferably in accounting or finance, or equivalent work experience.

The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
