We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our accounting team. This fully onsite position will primarily support freight-related payables, invoice processing, vendor payments, and account maintenance.

• The AP Specialist will process and post freight invoices received through various channels
• Review invoice batches for accuracy and resolve discrepancies or vendor disputes
• The AP Specialist will prepare weekly ACH and check payments, including payment reconciliation and documentation
• Verify new vendors and changes to existing vendor banking or remittance information
• The AP Specialist will maintain accurate AP records and assist with document management
• Support special projects and other accounting assignments as needed

• 1–2 years of Accounts Payable experience preferred
• Strong Microsoft Excel and Word skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Strong math and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Comfortable learning new computer systems and applications
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Self-motivated and dependable team player
