Warranty Claim Assistant

The Warranty Claims assistant will perform various routine clerical duties regarding school bus vehicles in support of the service location. This includes processing warranty items and scheduling service appointments.

Other duties will consist of answering phones, directing calls and preparing messages; data entry, filing, and completion of simple forms. Operation of standard office machines providing customer service, scheduling service orders, and submission of warranty claims for service orders and customers. Processing payments and billing, providing status updates, and communicating with service manager, technicians, and salesmen on units. The service warranty assistant will locate parts and add to service orders;

communicate with parts departments. Communication to the appropriate offices regarding warranty includes Virginia and West Virginia locations.

• Knowledge of warranty and service orders is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication as well as interpersonal and customer service.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail is a must.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Warranty experience.

Physically, you are sitting for prolonged periods at a desk and working on a computer. You must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
