Overview
Join the Potter County Area Agency on Aging (AAA) as an Aging Case Aide 1 and support older adults as they access important services. You will work with a caring team that helps people find answers and stay connected. The position offers an excellent benefit package and a supportive work environment.
Responsibilities- Consumer Intake Support:
Complete intake forms and enter accurate information into the electronic system - Information Assistance:
Provide helpful information to consumers, families, and the public - Service Application Help:
Assist consumers with applications for additional needed services - Transportation Coordination:
Arrange transportation needs, including scheduling and driving when required - Documentation Tasks:
Send letters, releases, and other necessary documents to consumers - Clerical Assistance:
Carry out routine office duties such as filing, gathering information, and helping prepare reports
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday – Friday, with a 30-minute lunch

- Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: One year of public contact work involving obtaining or providing information; or any equivalent of experience and training
- Other Requirements: You must meet the Pennsylvania residency requirement; hiring preference may be given to candidates who live within Potter County. Ability to perform essential job functions
- This position falls under the Older Adult Protective Services Act; conditional offers require satisfactory criminal history reports (including PA State Police and FBI clearance)
- This position falls under the Child Protective Services Law; conditional offers require satisfactory criminal history reports including PA State Police clearance, PA Child Abuse history clearance, and FBI fingerprint clearance
