The Nelly Berman School of Music/NBSCMI in Haverford, PA is seeking a full-time Administrative Coordinator to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a central role in the daily operations of one of the Philadelphia area's leading classical music schools. Founded in 1983, the Nelly Berman School of Music has been dedicated to providing exceptional music education for more than 40 years.
You will work closely with the School Director and a dedicated faculty in a lively, fast‑paced environment, supporting talented students as they prepare for performances, competitions, recitals, and concerts.

- Communicate with students, families, and faculty by phone, email, and in person regarding scheduling, registration, billing, and school events.
- Coordinate lesson schedules and help resolve scheduling conflicts.
- Handle student registration, invoicing, and scholarship administration.
- Schedule lessons and maintain accurate student records using the school's scheduling software.
- Assist in planning and coordinating concerts, recitals, and scholarship events.
- Create concert programs, flyers, and other promotional materials using Canva.
- Update and maintain the NBS website using Word Press.
- Collaborate with the Director on marketing materials and school communications.
- At least two years of experience in an administrative, office, education, nonprofit, or customer service role.
- Excellent organizational and time‑management skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to work independently while collaborating as part of a team.
- Proficiency with Google Workspace (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Forms), including working knowledge of Google Sheets (sorting, filtering, formulas, and organizing data).
- Professional, friendly, and customer‑service‑oriented demeanor when working with students, families, and faculty.
- Strong computer skills and the ability to learn new software applications quickly.
- Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment and handle sensitive situations with professionalism.
- Experience working in an educational, nonprofit, music, or arts organization.
- Experience with scheduling or student management software.
- Experience with Canva and/or basic graphic design.
- Experience updating websites using Word Press.
- Familiarity with social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and You Tube.
- Interest in music, arts education, or the nonprofit sector.
Full‑Time (11:00 AM – 7:00 PM, Monday through Friday; a few weekend hours during the year, as needed, for concerts and special events)
BenefitsPerformance‑based bonus, medical insurance allowance, paid vacation, and paid holidays.
Salary Range$39,000 - $44,000, based on experience
