Intern - Commercial Excellence & Finance Teams

HWI has a fantastic opportunity to join our Commercial Excellence & Finance Teams as an Intern. This is a challenging role in which you will apply your academic knowledge and skills in a professional environment while contributing to high-impact projects. You will gain hands-on experience in areas, such as data analytics, CRM implementations, and financial systems.

Responsibilities

  • Support ongoing CRM system implementation, including data validation, reporting, and analytics
  • Assist in reconciling data between Power BI and Oracle Cloud, ensuring alignment and accuracy across systems
  • Validate and test report outputs from new systems to ensure data integrity and usability
  • Compile and analyze competitor, market, and industry intelligence to support commercial strategy
  • Provide administrative and project coordination support as needed across both teams
  • Contribute to special projects and process improvement initiatives within Commercial Excellence and Finance

Learning & Development Opportunities

  • Gain practical experience working with enterprise systems including CRM platforms, Power BI, and Oracle Cloud
  • Develop analytical and problem-solving skills through real-world business applications
  • Exposure to commercial strategy, financial processes, and data-driven decision making
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Commercial, Finance, and IT
  • Build a strong foundation in corporate operations within a manufacturing environment

Requirements

  • Pursuing a BS degree in business, finance or other related fields
  • Requires a problem-solving and analytical mindset, interested in process improvement
  • Requires computer operation skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project)
  • Requires analytical skills and the ability to assemble data
  • Requires time management and organization skills with accurate and precise attention to detail
  • Requires strong interpersonal and communications skills and the ability to work effectively in a team and individual environment
