Job Summary:
The Senior Business Analyst will play a critical role in analyzing business requirements and production specifications for technology applications. This position is responsible for defining system scope and objectives based on user needs and business processes. The ideal candidate will lead business process improvement projects aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and effectiveness within internal business groups.
- Analyze and document business requirements and production specifications for technology applications.
- Define system scope and objectives based on user needs and business processes.
- Direct and manage business process improvement projects to enhance operational results.
- Identify and document system constraints, implications, and consequences of proposed changes.
- Provide actionable recommendations for addressing and resolving business issues within specific business groups.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure alignment of business objectives and technology solutions.
- Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather requirements and validate solutions with stakeholders.
- Support the release management process by ensuring that all changes are documented and communicated effectively.
Skills:
- Strong business analysis skills with a proven track record in application development.
- Experience in software solutions development and implementation.
- Excellent problem solving skills with a focus on customer needs.
- Proficiency in UX Design principles.
- Experience in business management and process improvement methodologies.
Skills:
- Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
- Experience with data analysis and reporting tools.
- Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) processes.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 7 - 10 years of relevant experience in business analysis or a related role.
- Proven experience in leading business process improvement initiatives.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
