Develop, maintain, and update the overall construction schedule, including detailed "look-ahead" schedules to anticipate and mitigate potential delays.
Review estimates with the operations team to ensure logistical and site-specific considerations are fully incorporated into project planning.
Author and execute Methods of Procedure (MOPs) to plan and control critical construction activities in mission critical environments.
Complete thorough daily and weekly reports documenting progress, issues, manpower, and equipment, and maintain a detailed photo journal of jobsite progress.
Coordinate with all stakeholders to ensure that work is sequenced efficiently and that project milestones and deadlines are consistently met.
Support commissioning and turnover activities by ensuring required documentation, inspections, and punch list items are properly managed.
Essential Skills
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a construction superintendent overseeing complex building projects.
Proven experience with general building construction and a strong understanding of all major scopes and trades.
Demonstrated experience building at least one life science or pharmaceutical project valued over $100 million.
