Junior Project Engineer
Position Summary:
The Jr. Project Engineer will provide support for projects in various stages of design, estimating and construction as well as assistance to various aspects of field and office activities.
Primary/Essential
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Provide documentation quality control on construction projects.
- Provides basic contract administration support at construction field office.
- Assist in the coordination of construction contracts.
- Prepares construction contract correspondence for supervisor review.
- Assist with coordination of the bidding process and correspondence flow for change orders and modification.
- Prepares construction contract correspondence for supervisor review.
- Assist in preparation of bid packages.
- Assist Project Managers with the preparation and maintenance of construction schedules.
- Prepares and maintains documentation of work performed in accordance record keeping procedures.
- Prepare and maintain documentation and document control associated with a project in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Assist in the preparation of additional work orders.
- Assist with requirements for project close out.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
- 0-3 years' experience in construction.
- Ability to prepare change orders, filing and knowledge in establishing and maintaining project records.
- Ability to use applicable software and record keeping methods.
- Must have excellent PC skills in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Working Conditions:
- Works in an office environment.
- Frequently sits for long periods of time.
- Frequently speaks, reads, writes, and uses a computer keyboard.
- May require occasional standing, walking, lifting, stooping, or bending.
