Regulatory Compliance Specialist, Procurement / Purchasing, Civil Engineering, Estimator
Job Responsibilities
Prepare estimates and present to leadership.
Read blueprints and technical documents.
Identify and quantify materials, equipment and labor costs.
Develop construction schedules.
Attend meetings and/or site visits to gather information.
Utilize MS Excel and Bluebeam Revu.
Collaborate with engineers, architects, clients, contractors and team members.
Additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications / RequirementsHigh degree of proficiency in computer skills with emphasis on MS Excel and Bluebeam Revu.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work well autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.
Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with internal and external peers and colleagues.
Associate's degree in construction, engineering or related field and/or appropriate experience.
Ideal candidates will have 2+ years of previous cost estimating and/or construction management experience.
Occasional travel either locally, nationally, and/or internationally may be required.
Physical Aspects / Work EnvironmentRequired to stand; walk; sit; and talk, hear and see.
Occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
