- Lead project management activities for awarded projects including scheduling, resource planning, subcontractor procurement, cost control, change order management, and progress reporting.
- Monitor project budgets and forecast cost-to-complete; implement corrective actions to mitigate budget and schedule variances.
- Ensure compliance with contract terms, safety programs, and applicable codes and regulations for healthcare, education, federal, and commercial environments.
- Conduct site visits and pre-bid/site review meetings to validate conditions, access logistics, phasing, and coordination requirements.
- Manage client and stakeholder communications, attend project meetings, and maintain strong relationships to support repeat business and customer satisfaction.
- Mentor and coordinate with estimation and field teams, sharing best practices and improving estimating processes and tools.
- Prepare bid submissions, proposal narratives, and presentations; support business development by providing technical input and cost analyses.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of combined experience in electrical estimating and project management within commercial, healthcare, education, and federal construction sectors.
- Demonstrated proficiency with electrical estimating software (eg. Trimble/Win Est, Accubid, Plan Swift, or similar) and MS Office (Excel, Word, Project).
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, materials, codes (NEC), and installation practices for healthcare, education, and federal facilities.
- Proven track record preparing competitive, accurate bids and managing projects from award through closeout, including change order negotiation and cost control.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and client-facing skills; experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams and subcontractors.
- Familiarity with federal procurement processes and compliance requirements preferred.
