Project Manager - Mechanical Construction - Pennsylvania

Gryphon Oakwood are partnered with a leading mechanical construction, design, and maintenance provider that are seeking a Project Manager to provide leadership and direction for successful data center project completion. The Project Manager will have responsibility for project delivery, financial performance, scheduling, and client relationships across complex mechanical construction projects.

• Lead and manage data center mechanical construction projects, ensuring schedules, budgets, scopes, and quality standards are met.
• Plan, schedule, and manage project teams to ensure successful project completion and delivery.
• Develop and manage project plans, schedules, staffing plans, and scopes of work.
• Monitor, control, and report on the financial performance and profitability of assigned projects.
• Coordinate project activities with trades, subcontractors, vendors, and internal departments to ensure efficient project execution.
• Prepare, negotiate, and manage client and subcontractor change orders.
• Maintain strong customer relationships through proactive communication, problem solving, and a high level of service.
• Provide technical oversight and demonstrate strong working knowledge of mechanical systems and construction processes.
• Coach, mentor, and support project team members, while contributing to employee training and development.
• Collaborate with other departments and project leadership to support broader company objectives and strategic goals.
• Ensure project activities are performed in accordance with company policies, safety requirements, quality standards, and ethical expectations.
• Identify and resolve project issues while maintaining strong communication with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders.

• 5+ years of successful experience in the mechanical construction industry, with direct experience and exposure to Project Manager responsibilities.
• Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems and construction processes.
• Proven experience developing and managing project plans, schedules, budgets, and scopes of work.
• Experience preparing and managing client and subcontractor change orders.
• Demonstrated ability to monitor, control, and report on project financial performance.
• Proven track record of strong customer relationships and effective problem solving.
• Experience coordinating work with trades, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Proven ability to coach, mentor, and develop project team members.
• Strong business, mathematical, communication, and reasoning skills.
• Strong computer skills and the ability to effectively navigate online project management and business systems.
• Accomplished team player with the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple departments and project teams.
• Strong work ethic with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a demanding project environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field preferred; equivalent education and experience will also be considered.
