Plumbing & HVAC Project Manager

Commercial and industrial Plumbing and HVAC Project Manager responsible for managing projects from contract award through completion. This role will oversee project scheduling, budgeting, procurement, subcontractors, field personnel, customer communication, project documentation, change orders, billing, and profitability while ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to customer expectations.

Manage multiple commercial and industrial plumbing and HVAC projects simultaneously

Review construction plans, specifications, contracts, and project requirements

Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets

Coordinate material procurement and vendor activities

Coordinate with customers, general contractors, engineers, vendors, subcontractors, and field personnel

Monitor project costs, billing, change orders, and profitability

Provide direction and support to project foremen and field crews

Attend project and coordination meetings

Track project progress and resolve scheduling, material, labor, and field issues

Maintain project documentation throughout the project lifecycle

Ensure quality and safety requirements are maintained

Manage project closeout activities

Maintain strong customer relationships and support customer satisfaction

Identify potential project risks and develop solutions

Ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget

5 or more years of experience in commercial or industrial plumbing and/or HVAC project management

Strong understanding of commercial construction practices

Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications

Experience with project scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and cost control

Experience managing change orders and project billing

Experience coordinating with general contractors, customers, engineers, vendors, subcontractors, and field crews

Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously

Strong understanding of plumbing and HVAC systems and installation practices

Strong communication, organization, and problem solving skills

Proficiency with Microsoft Office

Experience with construction or project management software

Ability to work effectively with project foremen and field teams

Project management, construction management, plumbing, HVAC, or related certifications are a plus but not necessarily mandatory
