ABOUT VIDEO VILLAGE:
Many of the world's most successful tech companies were built by small teams living and working in close proximity. Video Village applies that same model to independent filmmaking. Meals, lodging, and utilities are provided during your time living and working at Video Village, giving you access to the two resources creatives value you most: space and time. In exchange, residents contribute at least 25 hours each week towards helping develop and produce Video Village's slate of film and T.V. projects.

Residents will receive equity stake in the projects we produce. We're not looking for people to fill jobs—we're looking for founding members. Creatives inspired by our unique slate. Builders passionate about solving hard problems. As Video Village grows, we expect our founding members to grow within it, becoming the producers and leaders who will help shape its future. Our goal isn't to produce a single film, but a resilient system that can support ongoing production.

The House Manager represents the heart and soul of Video Village. In this role, you will help maintain a home where filmmakers feel empowered, supported, and connected. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is passionate about cooking, community, and homemaking. This person will also provide catering and craft services during our film shoots.

This is a residency, not a traditional salaried position. Housing, meals, and utilities are provided in exchange for a 25-hour weekly contribution. Estimated value of housing, utilities, internet, and meals: approximately $2,000 per month.

Shrewsbury, PA (20 min to York, 40 min to Baltimore, 2 hrs to DC, 2.5 hrs to NYC)

Schedule:

~25 hours/week (part-time, flexible)

Term: approximate two month trial period (Sept 20 - Nov. 20) followed by an ongoing engagement.

• Help maintain the property and a positive vibe within the house
• Keep the home site clean, organized, and functional
