Qualifications:
Current/unrestricted state medical license in any US state
Board certified (preferred) / Board Eligible4 years completed training from recognized psychiatric residency program.
Minimum 4 years meaningful patient contact (residency can be included)
Completed CMEs
Description:
Inpatient, three 26 bed units
Treatment and management of general and specialized mental health needs in veteran populationo
Dementia, mood disorders, PTSD, schizophrenia, addictive behaviors, and comorbidity
Consultant to medical center staff
Plan, organize, direct, control, evaluate programs
Monday through Friday, 1st shift, 80 hours per 2 weeks6 months locum tenens
