We are looking for a caring individual who has a passion for helping young children learn and grow. Someone who is passionate in making a difference in the lives of children and their families.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required Education : a minimum of a Child Development Accreditation (CDA) in infant and toddler.
Preferred Education : an associate’s degree or higher in early childhood education or a related field plus two years of experience working in an early childhood education setting with infants and toddler.
Must have an interest in child development, a flexible personality, the ability to work independently and excellent verbal and written communication skills, plus enjoy a variety in daily work routines.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Oversee operation and activities of supervised groups and classroom planning. Ensure developmentally appropriate comprehensive program and classroom plans that meet children’s group and individual needs, and follow SUMMIT Early Learning curriculum and philosophy.
LOCATION:
MIFFLINBURG CHILDREN’S CENTER, Mifflinburg, PA
HOURS & SALARY: Full-time (40 hours per week), Monday – Friday, 260 days/year. $17.40 to $19.70 depending upon qualifications.
Rate of Pay: based on education/experience
CDA: $17.40/hour
Associate Degree in ECE or related field: $17.99/hour
Bachelor degree in ECE: $19.70/hour
