Permanent Substitute Mathematics Teacher
The Mt. Lebanon School District is seeking applicants for the position of Permanent Substitute Mathematics Teacher anon High School for the First Semester of the School Year. This is a full-time, on-site, single semester, temporary (substitute) assignment from August 12, 2026 through January 14, 2026, a 99 day assignment. In order to be eligible to apply, the candidate must hold an active Instructional Certificate from the Pennsylvania Department in Mathematics 7-12. Applicants with pending certifications through the PA Department of Education may be considered with college/university placeholder letter stating completion of a PDE approved school counselor preparation program and evidence of passing scores on certification examinations. A permanent substitute assignment is a long term substitute assignment of a full semester or more.
This position will be eligible for degree level daily rate for step 1 of the teachers salary schedule, with rates starting at $297 per day depending upon credential. The position is also eligible for paid time off in the form of sick and personal days and individual health, dental, and vision insurance coverage. Final date to receive applications:
