Personal Care Assistant
The Mt. Lebanon School District is seeking applicants for the position of Personal Care Assistant at Foster Elementary School beginning with the school year. This is a full-time, on-site, permanent position. This assignment will work directly with students with special needs in a Life Skills and Autistic Support - Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) classroom.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM 7 Hours/Day plus a 30 minute unpaid lunch 190 days during the regular school year (summers, weekends and holidays off) Rates:
Starting wages are either $16.69 per hour (approx. $22,197 annual) or $16.79 per hour (approx. $22,330 annual), for new hires to the District, depending upon previous school district experience. This is a salaried position with a fixed per pay amount disbursed over 24 pays September through August. Perks:

Qualifications:
In order to be eligible for special education support positions, applicants must meet the following criteria: Be a high school graduate or possess a GED, AND
1) Have completed at least 2 years of postsecondary study, OR
2) Possess an Associates degree or higher, OR
3) Complete a series of job-based trainings during the first year of employment, and continuing education credit hours during subsequent years
