Camp Lohikan is a co‑educational residential summer camp located in the Pocono Mountains of northeastern Pennsylvania. Campers range in age from 6 to 15 and enjoy more than 65 daily activities that cover sports, arts and adventure programs.

• Provide volleyball instruction and coaching to campers.
• Supervise and support campers throughout the camp day.
• Act as a cabin counselor and mentor for cabin campers.
• Model respectful, inclusive behavior and prioritize campers’ safety.
• Maintain camp policies, including non‑smoking, no vaping, curfew and alcohol and smoking restrictions.
• Demonstrate expertise in volleyball and, where possible, share teaching experience.

• Applicants must have completed at least one year of college.
• College‑enrolled staff members are housed in the cabins with the campers and assume counseling responsibilities in addition to instructional duties during the program day.
• Applicants must have high moral character and a strong work ethic.
• Excellent role models for campers are expected; previous experience working with children is preferred.
• Camp Lohikan is a non‑smoking (no vaping) camp.
• Depending on the specialty position, certification may be required. In all instructor roles, staff must have extensive personal experience in the activity, demonstrate expertise, and ideally have teaching experience.
• Applicants must pass Camp Lohikan's pre‑offer and post‑offer staff screening processes, which include reference checks, criminal background checks, fingerprinting, sex‑offender registry checks and other relevant screening checks.
