The Goddard School of Downtown Pittsburgh is searching for a passionate lead or assistant teacher to join our full-time team with comprehensive benefits. The Goddard School of Downtown Pittsburgh is always looking for a great teacher! The right candidate is reliable, positive, loves children, and wants a long-term career in early childhood education. Experience in childcare, daycare, or teaching is preferred.

Your responsibilities include coordinating the daily operations of assigned classrooms, planning, presenting, and evaluating educational and recreational activities, maintaining a safe, nurturing, and positive environment, and working directly with children and parents daily to provide quality customer service.

Qualifications include a PA teaching certificate, 1–2 years of previous experience preferred, successfully completed state-required pre-service training, ability to develop relationships and communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues, ability to calmly manage stressful situations while multitasking, must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. (for child safety and emergency situations), for Infant and Young Toddler Teachers, must be able to safely lift infants in and out of cribs, and meets background check eligibility requirements.

Compensation: $37,440.00 - $41,600.00 per year
