- Develops Individualized Education Programs (IEP) and Reevaluation Reports, based on student performance data, which comply with federal and state regulations and local guidelines, and participates in IEP team meetings.
- Manages and works collaboratively with classroom personnel (e.g., paraprofessionals, Personal Care Assistants), using clear and direct communication techniques, supporting students' academic, social, emotional and behavioral goals.
- Collaborates with related service providers and other staff, using a consultative model, ensuring that relevant information affecting students' special education programs are shared and acted upon.
- Promotes students' products through physical and/or digital representation (e.g., bulletin boards, displays, student projects), showcasing learners' production and enhancing the school's climate.
- Completes other duties (e.g., bus duty, lunch duty) as assigned by building administrators or special education supervisors.
