Job Coach
The Bradley School is a licensed private academy educating students who present with special education needs. These students may have learning, emotional and/or behavioral challenges and struggle to succeed in a traditional classroom setting. We are looking for a Job Coach who is motivated, compassionate and has a calling and passion for helping children. We are looking for someone with initiative, creativity and a desire to have a positive impact on a child's life.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide on-site support and supervision to students at job training, internship, or community based vocational sites
- Teach and model appropriate workplace behaviors, communication skills, and job-specific tasks
- Assist students in developing independence, self-advocacy, and problem-solving skills in the workplace
- Collaborate with employers, site supervisors, and school staff to ensure job placements align with student goals and abilities
- Monitor student performance, collect data, and document progress toward Individualized Education Program (IEP) and transition goals
- Adapt tasks or environments as needed to accommodate student strengths and needs
