Long Term Substitute Personal Care Assistant
The Mt. Lebanon School District has an immediate need for a Long Term Substitute Personal Care Assistant at Jefferson Middle School. This is an on-site, temporary position working Monday through Friday, through a date to be determined, but currently anticipated to be 09/23/26. Personal Care Assistants provide support in the academic, social/emotional, and behavioral development of students in accordance with an Individualized Education Program (IEP) by:
Engaging with students and staff Performing instructional support tasks like supervision, tutoring, and coaching Performing behavioral support tasks like communicating positive expectations, prompting/signaling, and redirecting Performing clerical support tasks like organizing materials and recording progress and observations See attached job description for more details. This position will be paid a daily rate of $116.83, or $58.42 per half day. There are no benefits or paid time off associated with this substitute placement.

ADDITIONAL EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS In order to be eligible for employment, the following clearances must be furnished and approved for hire at time of job offer:
Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance (Act 151) Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Record Check (Act 34) FBI Federal Criminal History Record (Act 114) The following additional trainings and forms are required upon hire:
