Job Overview
Optical Engineer – Philadelphia, PA – 100% Onsite – 12+ Months
We're expanding our team and seeking a hands‑on Engineering Architect to support lab and network initiatives. This role balances lab work and development, with direct involvement in testing, validation, and network troubleshooting.
Responsibilities- 50% lab work: development, testing, and validation of network solutions
- Collaborate with vendors on optical and data network projects
- Hands‑on work with network infrastructure, telecom systems, and optical networks
- Networking: copper cabling, Layer 2/3 data networks
- Telecom environments and architectures
- Optical networking and access networks
- Programming/Scripting: C/C++, Go, Python
