I2T is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to support our growing team in Pittsburgh.
Responsibilities- Design Electrical systems for industrial equipment
- Panel Layout design
- NFPA/NEC/IEEE compliance
- Generate drawings and documentation
- Ensure design adheres to industrial codes and customer requirements
- Travel to customer facilities for installation and support
- BSEE/EET or equivalent is required.
- Experience with CAD software and electrical design tools. AutoCAD Electrical Preferred
- Hands-on experience with electrical wiring and troubleshooting is required.
- Industry experience with automation equipment and/or manufacturing environments beneficial.
- 3-5 years of industry experience.
- US Citizenship
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, components, and design principles
- Ability to identify issues and develop effective solutions during design and implementation efforts
- Capability to size motors and amplifiers for projects
- Experience with industrial robots is beneficial
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients
